 \n\n \n\nTarget Audience\n\n \n\nThe workshop is aimed at academic and 
 research colleagues who want to know more about publishing their research 
 open access. \n\nPriority will be given to colleagues who are employed by 
 the University if the course reaches capacity.\n\n\n\nSummary\n\n\n\nThis 
 session will introduce you to open access\, what it is and how it relates 
 to academic publishing. It will take you through the publication process\, 
 with an overview of the different types of open access and how we support 
 these\, considering the routes available\, funder and institutional 
 expectations\, copyright and rights retention and sources of funding. 
 \n\n\n\n\n\nLearning Objectives \n\n\n\nAt the end of the workshop 
 participants will be able to: \n\n\n\n \n\n\n	Understand open access and 
 its benefits  \n	Be aware of different types of open access publishing  
 \n	Understand funder and institutional open access expectations and 
 requirements  \n	Know about open access-related copyright and 
 licencing  \n	Know where to find options and support for open access 
 publishing \n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nProgramme \n\n\n\nThe workshop programme
