90 minutes of the most effective revision ever!  

If you’re bored of your revision routine, struggling to find the motivation to start or feeling disheartened that your revision never seems to stick, let our WDC tutors lead your next revision session! 

We’ll walk you through a structured approach, introducing you to strategies that are proven to work, and lend you a bit of moral support too, all while making progress on whatever it is you need to revise! 

Rather than just giving you tips to take away, this workshop enables you to bring your own revision notes to work with as you try out a range of effective strategies for managing your revision, improving your memory and practising for the exam. We’ll offer opportunities to reflect on how it’s going, and to discuss with our tutors and other students. By the end of the session, you’ll have not only learned some approaches to apply in the rest of your revision, but also have actually revised something useful too! 

This session is suitable for those preparing for online exams as well as in person.  We cannot answer queries on subject content, but will suggest a range of approaches suitable for different types of knowledge and assessment.  

You’ll need to ‘bring with you’ some material you need to revise, from one or two modules. This could include slides or notes from lectures, a couple of chapters from a text book, or a set of notes you’ve compiled yourself. Beforehand, identify some items you need to revise within these. Don’t bring too much!
