Individual support

One-to-One support

The Academic Skills Team offer a range of options to help you develop and refine your academic skills, from research planning and time management, to revision, drafting and editing your writing.

We offer 50-minutes slots to enable you to discuss in-depth queries about your work. You can book a 50-minute One-to-One to talk through any aspect of your work.

At certain points in the year, we also run themed clinics to provide extra, focused, support for key assessments such as exams and dissertations or extended projects.

Meet us online or in-person in the Library and locations across Newcastle campus. Explore the options below to find a session that meets your needs.

Book a one-to-one with your Liaison Librarian to help you develop your skills in finding, evaluating and managing information, and advice on improving your information search plan.
