Critical writing: indicating stance. Online
If you are a PG student either on the taught route or as a research student, you’ll know how important it is to ensure that your authorial voice is clear throughout your work. In this interactive and practical session, we’ll invite you to take part in activities working with peers in order for you to build awareness of how to make your views clear throughout your work and to ensure that your writing is critical. We’ll also consider the range of language devices and structures you can use to indicate your position on research of others as well as your own research and show you how to apply these in your own subject context.
